Anne at the Noosa House

I love working with Anne. Sharing a house with her is fun too. Especially when she finds spiders. Enjoy the video and the images.
A fine art nude photography annual retreat

The early afternoons made wonderful reflections in the swimming pool in the house. I think I timed it right for a couple of these. They seem rather Picasso-esque to me. In one of the images it almost looks like one of his strange faces in his paintings. My imagination is always seeing shapes in shadows…
Almost everyone was very kind to send in their snap shots this year, so we can show you what a week with us is like. The video footage in the beginning is just a normal day. For those of you who were attendees and want this video, just head over to Vimeo and download it….
I feel like Ella and I embarked on 2 shoots instead of one shoot because of the difference in the images. So here is part 1 with Part 2 coming soon… I just love an empty beach. And those hair reflections!
Sorry about the title but I’m never really good at making titles. They always seem like overused platitudes. <insert Laugh here> On to the serious stuff. Eva and I did a mega hike to our location and then coasted down the hill to coffee and back to the house for some relaxing photos. I hope…
Aussies are so nice. There was a crowd here and I asked if they could give us two minutes. They all got out of the water and backed up and let us have our photo. That would never happen in America. I love you, Australia. This is a rare color image for me, but it…
One of the reasons (there are many) I just keep coming back to Australia are these vast long empty spaces where you can work with literally no one around. And if they’re around THEY DON’T CARE. The complete opposite of America. Enjoy some images Carly and I made on one of the 1000’s of beaches…
Chey and I spent a lot of time making Polaroids and when we were through with that we tempted fate at these locations. One was a random house not belonging to any of us. shh. Chey’s pose on that tree makes me happy we dared it all. And the clouds of course. Thanks for watching….
When models all get the same dress and they look like they have started a cult images like these happen. ha The last shoot of the fest was a fun one, dodging mosquitos especially. Now to start editing negatives! 🙂
I have finished the last image from last years retreat just in time for this year’s retreat. Better late than never. This was the best location! Loved it there. Next week I’ll be back in Australia! See you soon!
Join us on another fantastic retreat!
