I hope that someday I wake up and say, “My god Tara, we are in our 80’s now and I’m still taking photos of you. Someone must be sick of us somewhere, but screw that person!” There are a lot of models that I feel that way about, though I’ve photographed Tara the longest.
I only photographed the bravest in our swimming pool since the water was FREEZING. Such a disappointment, though it did make me venture out into the great Aussie wilds and see the beauty.
There is a wedding company that takes the bride down the aisle on horseback at this particular beach. Lucky for them they didn’t have to dodge a nude photoshoot but they left us some lucky horse prints for a photograph.
I honestly have no idea what came over me when I decided to do this. I’ve never tried doing this before (the image below you). I suppose I was thinking about how crows have different accents in Australia (it’s true they do) and they are a bit smarter than our American version too. I watched one fly over to my camera bag and open it up and have a look inside. I was glad that he didn’t run off with one of my lenses. So when I started looking at “crow beach” again I messed around and did this. I like it.
The wind made such lovely lines in the sand for us.
And in the end…. there was a Sand Angel.
