My second day started out with my roomie, Eva. We decided to use the room (or at least I did), to wait for Cheyanne to return from her unlikely adventure to the south of the Island. It was a calm gentle way for me to start the day after the dizzies I got on day one.
Sometimes after making images where I like every single one, I step away from them for awhile to attempt to look again after a time with a new mind and more critical eye. But I still like every single one for different reasons. So I shall just go ahead and share them all. The one with the biggest avocado I’ve ever seen is a favorite because Eva swore it would be delish but I didn’t believe. I was so wrong. It was delish. Always trust the farmer.
I also rarely ever do color, but the passion fruit screamed for it. I really hate the color pink, but it works for me here. Especially since Eva’s eyes sort of tell the pink to back off a little.
I love ocean breeze hair. It fills me with an air of nostalgia. The wind was our co-author this time. Along with that perfect light.
When you have a handful of near perfect images and have to choose one, what do you do? Flip a coin? This was a little breakthrough for me after brain surgery. I was scared for a few days that it would dull my talent and I would be starting over. Seeing the images gave me confidence again and I ignored that little fear inside my heart the rest of the week. Or maybe it was all Eva. That could totally be the case. 🙂 So I’ll celebrate them all.
