The water looks like mercury to me. Shiny, metallic, a sort of glow. Cheyanne did great! This was a spontaneous night shoot and I’m so glad it happened. Ethereal water dreams …. Maybe I’ll spend the whole retreat in the water this year. hmm.
It’s kind of crazy that I am still editing images from Australia. But it’s also nice to have such an extended period to go back and relive the most amazing time with such great people! Thanks Zoe. ©Carson Zullinger 2018
Tara and I have known each other since about 2004 and it’s always great to add some finesse to our body of work together. I love to work with a model over an extended period of time and be able to create new looks and new ideas. I look forward to continuing on that path….

I found this image looking back through Zoefest 2017 images. When I knew we were going to the Daintree I had in mind finding a big tree with buttressing roots. This was one of the few I found. I love how the tree seems to be hugging Anne.
Not bad for a 10 minute shoot. I thought there was a croc around every bend in the river yet it was just my imagination. The sun was going down as we were trying to balance ourselves on these swift little rapids. Thanks for dragging me out there Carly!
